What You Will Do

You will focus on helping existing clients maximize the value of GT software in real time applications while driving new business opportunities across industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, and industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of real-time simulation workflows, combined with proven success in complex B2B software sales. You will position GT-SUITE as the premier platform for real-time solutions, enabling advanced model-based development and system-level validation.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for real-time solutions with prospective accounts and expand GT’s footprint within existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical decision-makers, demonstrating the value of GT’s real-time capabilities.
  • Drive outbound sales efforts through prospecting into new departments, divisions, and global locations of existing customers, as well as new customers, using email, phone, social media, and networking.
  • GT at industry tradeshows, conferences, and customer events to promote real-time simulation solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams to tailor solutions for customer needs and ensure successful implementation.
  • Ability to travel 30%-50% domestic and international.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior 4–10 years in Business-to-Business Sales, preferably selling complex software solutions to technical buyers.
  • Successful experience as a quota-carrying sales representative selling simulation software (CAE) or real-time solutions.
  • Proven track record of achievement and consistent attainment or over-attainment of sales quotas.
  • Experience with GT-SUITE or other system simulation CAE tools.
  • Understanding of real-time simulation concepts and integration workflows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with a desire to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Desire to grow professionally and take on additional responsibilities as earned.

  • This position is currently remote based out of California; however, this arrangement is subject to change based on business needs.

  • The expected annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 – $150,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
