Undergraduates Intern for Software Development

Gamma Technologies, LLC, established in 1994, is headquartered in Westmont, Illinois (a west suburb of Chicago). GT develops, markets, and sells an engineering simulation software, GT-SUITE, which is the software of choice for more than 600 leading corporations worldwide, including Mercedes, BMW, VW, Toyota, Nissan, GM and Ford. 

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for talented, motivated, entry-level candidates for an internship working in our software development department.  Internship activities will be varied, but will likely include several of the following:

  • Implementing new features and architectural improvement of Java code
  • Test new software features
  • Diagnose software bugs and assessing performance issues
  • Assist IT staff with hardware and software upgrades and maintenance

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completed at least two years toward Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Completed some software engineering and/or programming language classes

Additional Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience, real-world or academic, with JAVA or C++
