GT develops, markets, and sells an engineering simulation software, GT-SUITE, which is the software of choice for more than 600 leading corporations worldwide, including Mercedes, BMW, VW, Toyota, Nissan, GM and Ford.
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for talented, motivated, entry-level candidates for an internship working in our software development department. Internship activities will be varied, but will likely include several of the following:
- Implementing new features and architectural improvement of Java code
- Test new software features
- Diagnose software bugs and assessing performance issues
- Assist IT staff with hardware and software upgrades and maintenance
Essential Qualifications:
- Completed at least two years toward Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Completed some software engineering and/or programming language classes
Additional Qualifications Desired:
- Experience, real-world or academic, with JAVA or C++
