Gamma Technologies is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our in-cylinder modelling group. This position will be involved with the development of mathematical models for various in-cylinder processes. The role requires good understanding of the thermodynamics, combustion and numerical methods.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop mathematical models for the in-cylinder processes like combustion, emissions, flow, turbulence, evaporation, mixing, heat transfer, etc.
- Implement new models and/or refine the existing models in GT-SUITE software.
- Calibrate the models with measured data.
- Publish in scientific journals.
Basic Qualifications
- PhD in Mechanical or Chemical engineering or any other area relevant to this position.
- Minimum GPA of 3.6/4.0.
- 2+ years of professional and/or graduate-level experience in developing mathematical models.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with any of the programming languages like FORTRAN, C, C++, etc.
- Experience in combustion modeling in 1D and 3D flow domain.
- Experience with chemical kinetics.
- Experience with Stochastic Reactor Models (SRM).
