Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, test and maintain advanced mathematical models of machinery and mechanical components including kinematics, contact mechanics, rigid and flexible multi-body dynamics systems in engine, powertrain and vehicle systems, such as engine cranktrains, valvetrains, gear, chain and belt drive systems, vehicle drivelines and transmissions.
- Develop mechanical simulation software.
- Integrate and apply computational models to address customers’ product design, performance and durability issues.
- Functional and performance testing of models and adaptation to user requirements
- Tools: Fortran , C++, Visual Basic, .NET, MatLab, Finite Element Analysis (FEA)Required
- PhD or ABD in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years of experience
- Previous experience must include:
- Modeling kinematics, contact mechanics, rigid and flexible multi-body dynamics problems in engine and vehicle systems
- Fortran
- Visual Basic
- .NET
- Matlab
- FEA
