Job Duties
Senior Engineers, Applications for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Westmont, IL). Shape and drive the Engine Mechanics and 3D MBD product roadmap, enhancements, and improvements for CAE software. Conduct independent research aimed at designing and defining new CAE software features and functionality. Resolve customer support requests and facilitate customer training on CAE software. Support development and validation of new models and features. Develop customer-tailored simulation workflows and methodologies using GT-SUITE. Technical environment: Specialized Engine Mechanics Tools – AVL, Ricardo, SimDrive 3D; 3D MBD Software – MSC ADAMS, SIMPACK, Sigma SAMS; Flexible Bodies; Finite Element methods and tools – Abaqus, Altair, Ansys, Nastran.
Requirements
Master’s. in Mechanical Engineering or related field required. Required Skills: Education or experience with: Specialized Engine Mechanics Tools such as AVL, Ricardo, or SimDrive 3D; 3D MBD Software such as MSC ADAMS, SIMPACK, or Sigma SAMS; Flexible Bodies; Finite Element methods and tools such as Abaqus, Altair, Ansys, or Nastran. Telecommuting permitted. Periodic minimal travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry conferences required. $96,845-116,845/yr.
