Job Responsibilities

Senior Engineers for Westmont, IL location. Develop and validate computational and mathematical models and solution methodologies for a wide range of reactor engineering, fluid flow and heat transfer problems arising in automotive and other industries. Develop mathematical models to describe fuel cells and study the numerical stability of these mathematical models. Develop models for heat exchangers and turbomachinery in GT Suite simulation software. Collaborate with development engineers and application engineers on the implementation of miscellaneous models in GT Suite simulation software to ensure customer requirements are met. Technical environment: GT Suite; Numerical Analysis for multiscale fluid flow, heat transfer, and reactor engineering systems; Computational and mathematical models of fuel cell systems; Computational and mathematical models of Nonlinear Dynamical systems; Reactive flow; Coupled homogeneous-heterogeneous combustion; Numerical linear algebra; Linear and Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations; Regular and Singular Perturbation Analysis; LSODE; ODEPACK; DASSL; FORTRAN; Reduced order models.

Requirements:

PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
