Job Duties

Senior Engineers for Westmont, IL location. Support customer growth initiatives with a focus on the technical/engineering perspective. Participate in pre-sales opportunities for computer aided engineering software sales at any stage of the sales cycle in which technical advice is required; this may include performing analysis of customer technical requirements and developing/presenting suitable solutions. Demonstrate and explain options to address specific customer requirements and develop strategies to shorten the sales cycle by minimizing the need for proof of concept (PoC). Perform Salesforce opportunity management and documentation. Generate and publish technical content that can be used to market and prove value for the system simulation. Technical environment: computer-aided engineering simulation platform such as GT-SUITE, MATLAB, Simulink, or AmeSim; Thermal Fluid systems; Internal Combustion Engines; Vehicular Electrification; Vehicle Performance/Efficiency; Python-Scripting.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus five years of experience in engineering required. Required Skills: computer-aided engineering simulation platform such as GT-SUITE, MATLAB, Simulink, or AmeSim; Thermal Fluid systems; Internal Combustion Engines; Vehicular Electrification; Vehicle Performance/Efficiency; Python-Scripting. Periodic minimal travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry conferences required. $134,576-136,400/yr.
