Job Responsibilities
Senior Engineers for Westmont, IL location. Design, development, coding, implementation and testing of computational models and solutions for rigid and flexible multi-body dynamics. Work to address noise, vibration, durability, fuel economy, and performance issues in engine, powertrain, suspension and other vehicle or mechanical systems. Apply developed models to company’s licensed computer-aided engineering (CAE) product used for the simulation, analysis and design of engines, powertrain, suspension and other vehicle or mechanical systems. Tools: Multibody Dynamics (MBD); 3D MBD; Computational Methods; FEA; C; C++; Fortran.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in mechanical engineering or as a mechanical engineering academic researcher required. Required Specific Skills: must have previous vibration and noise testing experience; computational modeling of mechanical systems including multi-body dynamics and FEA; coding CAE software for 3D MBD analysis; C++
