Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Senior Accountant who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is a key member of our growing Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of corporate accounting functions and tasks including general ledger accounting, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-pace environment where changes and suggestions to current processes and procedures are welcomed.
Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Complete period-end accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Sales tax reporting in several states
- Processing of online vendor payments and 3rd party royalty calculations
- Maintenance of deferred revenue schedules
- Calculation of monthly book/tax depreciation
- Work with external auditors as needed
- Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures with an emphasis on internal controls
- Recommend and implement ideas for increased efficiencies in month end and other processes
- Administer ad-hoc projects as necessary
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy from an accredited university with demonstrated classroom excellence
- 5 to 8 years of overall general accounting experience, including month-end close processes and deadlines, with full cycle exposure desirable
- Software industry experience a plus
- Expert analytical skills are essential
- Experience with ERP software
- Experience with NetSuite
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications with intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills required
