Position Summary
We are looking for an outgoing and highly motivated Sales Manager who will be part of the team responsible for North American sales and business development. The sales manager will consult with existing and potential new customers in the Detroit region to identify technical problems that can be solved by system simulation, and then propose solutions to those problems utilizing our industry leading GT-SUITE software. The sales manager will then follow each business opportunity through to the final sale, acting as the main point of contact for the customer. The sales manager will also mentor and manage junior sales and applications engineers in the Detroit regional office.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify potential business opportunities at prospective new accounts in Michigan
- Maintain strong relationships and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Attend conferences and trade shows to represent GT, and to generate potential leads
- Analyze current and potential customer’s technical requirements, prepare and propose simulation solutions in cooperation with internal technical specialists
- Interact with Finance Office to develop and deliver quotes for potential new business
- Act as main business and technical consultant for prospective customers as they evaluate and decide on GT solutions, following the process through to customer on-boarding
- Utilize SalesForce CRM to manage all opportunities throughout the process
Education and Experience

- BS degree in engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
- Outgoing personality with a desire to build relationships with customers
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic

- US Citizenship preferred, due to some client security policies
