We are looking for an intelligent, hard-working, and self-starting application engineer to help our customers get the most out of our software and to leverage the knowledge learned from these interactions to help us continuously develop our software. Gamma Technologies makes GT-SUITE, a sophisticated CAE package used by every major engine and vehicle OEM in the world to simulate engine and vehicle performance. GT-SUITE comprises a state-of-the-art systems simulation solver encompassing libraries of fluid dynamic, mechanical, thermal and electrical sub-models plus a sophisticated set of user interfaces including map-based and 3D-based pre- and post-processors.
We are specifically looking to add someone to our engine performance application and support team. This team supports customers who are modeling engine airflow, in-cylinder processes, acoustics, exhaust aftertreatment and real-time engine modeling. - Work with customers to assist them while they model their engines with our software.
- Carry out customer training
- Assure quality control of the product
- Use customer feedback and interaction to design and test new product features
- Assist other GT employees in marketing and selling GT-SUITE
- MS or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum GPA of 3.5
- New college graduates or experienced engineers are welcome
- Ability to travel up to four weeks annually, including international travel
- Experience with engine/vehicle simulation software such as GT-SUITE/GT-POWER, Wave, Boost and AMESim or other CAE tools and simulation
- Experience with internal combustion engines, including design, measurement and instrumentation, controls, SAE projects (FormulaSAE, BajaSAE, Future Car, etc.), or automotive rebuilding
