We are looking for talented, motivated, entry-level candidates for an internship working in our software development department. Internship activities will be varied, but will likely include several of the following:
- Assist our computer scientist in refactoring and architectural improvement of our Java code
- Test new software features
- Assist engineers in diagnosing software bugs and assessing performance issues
- Assist IT staff with hardware and software upgrades and maintenance
- Convert rasterized graphics into vector graphics
- Assist with office admistrative activities
Basic Qualifications
- Completed Junior year in high school
- Minimum GPA of 3.6
- Minimum one semester of high-school level programming class with an A- grade or better
- Majoring in or plans to major in engineering, sciences, or mathematics
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Two or more semesters of high-school or higher level programming experience
- Experience, real-world or academic, with JAVA or C++
