Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for an Attorney with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.
Position Summary
The attorney will draft and review inbound and outbound contracts, conduct legal research, and work with external counsel when required.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and process legal documents, including but not limited to licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, and custom documents.
- Prepare for and participate in/be responsible for client negotiations on such legal documents.
- Research and learn/stay up to date on current and new practice areas as needed.
- Maintain and update contract management tool.
- Investigate facts and law and search pertinent sources, such as public records and internet sources, to determine course of action.
- Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents.
- Draft and type memos and letters.
- Assist external counsel and employees with visa applications and other USCIS matters.
- Review client licensing and non-disclosure status for validity and currency.
- Receive and place telephone calls.
- Schedule and make appointments.
- Scan, upload, and file documents.
- Calendar/deadline management.
Education, Experience and Skills
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- Juris doctor degree
- 1+ year experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal communications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines through to timely completion.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with little oversight.
