We are looking for a creative, talented, and self-starting engineer to join our global Thermal Fluids Team to help our customers get the most out of our software, GT-SUITE, and to leverage the knowledge learned from these interactions to continuously improve our software. This position is at our Pune office, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gamma Technologies LLC USA.
Gamma Technologies develops, markets, and sells engineering simulation software called GT-SUITE. With roots in the automotive industry, nearly all the world’s leading automotive manufacturers leverage GT software. Our solutions help companies build more efficient vehicles that get better gas mileage while reducing emissions without sacrificing vehicle performance. The move from traditional internal combustion engines (ICE) to electrified vehicles (EV) has led to further growth for GT as our software allows EV manufacturers and their suppliers to design better vehicles. Regulatory agencies globally have mandated that vehicle manufacturers reduce harmful environmental emissions or they will face significant financial penalties, and GT helps our clients meet these mandates.
In addition to Automotive, GT serves the Aerospace, HVAC, and Marine industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer support for the simulation platform GT-SUITE in the application area of thermal management using our 1D, 3D CFD and FEM solution. This includes coolant flow circuits, refrigerant circuits, heat exchangers, battery/motor cooling, cabins, and air flow.
- Technical contributions to sales and marketing campaigns.
- Development of customer tailored simulation methodologies using GT-SUITE.
- Expanding the usage of GT-SUITE to new markets, applications, and systems.
- Contribution to the software development by specification, validation, and testing of new features.
- Maintain and improve product quality through quality assurance testing and monitoring.
- Work with internal teams (local and international) to learn on the job.
Desired Qualifications:
- Very good understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, as well as numerical methods.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical /Thermal / Aerospace engineering with 3 years of experience with 1D flow or system simulation (Dymola, KULI, Amesim, GT-SUITE, etc.).
- Good understanding of how various thermal and air-conditioning systems work in a vehicle.
- Open to travel within India and internationally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
